okay, myspace and facebook. noone can ever decide which ones better and which ones worse. well, i am here to announce that neither of them are and since i can't choose between the two either, i combined them! welcome to my face! a place for friends, networking, dating, you name it, its here! except nasty stuff >.> don't be icky. lol

everyone likes to get a tan, right? while you can really get a tan anywhere in ths town, this is where the beach homes are located. nothing fancy, everything is basically middle class. if you're someone richer than anyone in town, don't expect to find a big shmancy home here, you'll have to go to the city for that! these are all beach front property, nice, simply, cozy, and what natives call home.

so yeah not everyone has beach front property, just the majority, primarily the natives. but for those who are just looking to spend the summer, can't afford the beach bungalows, or just want to be closer to town, this is the place to find your home. here it ranges from apartments above convenient stores to two family housing, nothing more than two floors. noone wants their home blown away by a hurrican do they?

the next city over is only fifteen miles away, which is a pretty short and pleasant car ride out of the only road that leaves and enters paia in that direction. there, homes ae mostly for the wealthy and can be beach front property as well, though the homes are a lot bigger and obviously more expensive-mostly for tourists.

this is the only highschool in the small town of paia. it is a public school, but the students must wear uniforms. it isn't big, in fact it has a pretty basic layout. it is like a big square, a courtyard in the middle with two palm trees and a seating area for teens to eat at lunch. it is only two floors high and parking is reserved for staff. most students either take the bus or walk anyways since it is in town and close by.

like the highschool, the community college was named after the famous volcano which remains active and is only a few miles from the town. the college is mainly for those from maui county and it is an affordable education for the citizens.

this is the largest and only remaining sugar cane plantation in all of paia. it is located on the outskirts of town and is completely abandoned and has sugar canes, tall sea grass, and palm trees growing through the large black gates. there is a farm all the way in the back and in the dead center of the entire property is the oheo-gulch home which is a large, colonial styled mansion with three floors. it all looks eerily beautiful and it is a popular hot spot for teens who love to dare themselves to go in. it used to be where the five would primarily be found.

sand dunes! everyone likes them! ride your quads, your jeeps, your dirt bike, hell strap your surf board to the end and go sand dune surfing! it's just off the coast and right out side of town and is a hot spot, especially at night, for the fierce-some seven.

paia town square looks like it is right out of some movie from the colonial days when plantations were the main source of money. the town square doesn't have any major clothing brand stores, basically just small self owned businesses, a barber shop, a convenience store which sells everything just like a regular grocery store would.

the enterance of the reserve has a small park for kids but once you go into the reserve, it is pure jungle. teens and young adults often dare each other to stay the night, which usually people chicken out of. there are train tracks running through the valley that seem abandoned because of all the jungle plant life overgrowth, but once in a harvest moon a train will pass by...you better hope there isn't a train coming while your walking on it.

snorkeling, scuba diving, swimming, basically if you love the beach, surfing, and any other beach activity, bon fires included, this is the place to go. this is usually the only place in all of paia that is full of tourists.

the city! teenagers and young adults dying to escape the monotony of paia's tranquility tend to run away for a night or two to this goregeous city which is fifteen miles away from the farthest point of paia bay, and about fourty miles from the town's square. you can take a bus, but most people have their own cars and they go for the large shopping centers, the clubs, and so much more!

no one likes trash right? it's smelly, it's icky, and only glen coco knows what that mold growing on the bread is... anyways, this is where all closed and blah blah you kow the drill. unwanted threads are placed here to make the place look spiffy and clean! want it back? pm me dude!
